Job Description

At Subaru Stamford, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting guests through every stage of their automobile purchase. This is an excellent opportunity to sell one of the highest rated and hottest products on the market today.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with customers to build a loyal client base.
  • Exhibit consultative selling skills and assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become a vehicle authority, knowing the ins and outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.
  • Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
  • Follow up with buyers to ensure successful referral business.
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
  • Bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to work every day.

Qualifications:

  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred.
  • Ready to learn new product ins and outs and eager to improve.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
