Role Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the standards of our service vision, which is fundamental to The Memorial Experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely preparation for dispatch.
2. Fulfill customer orders efficiently, adhering to hospital safety and productivity standards.
3. Collaborate with the Central Services Department to meet service level requirements.
4. Serve as a liaison between Accounts Payable and Supply Chain Management to resolve discrepancies related to invoices and purchase orders.
5. Facilitate the movement of materials to both internal and external stakeholders, managing pickups and communication regarding items for disposal or storage.
6. Inspect and verify all hospital deliveries against relevant documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
7. Assist drivers in unloading deliveries and ensure supplies are transported to the designated receiving area.
8. Identify and label capital equipment appropriately, notifying relevant staff of receipts and preparing necessary documentation.
9. Utilize material handling equipment safely to transport supplies to shipping locations.
10. Prepare packages for shipment via various carriers, ensuring all outbound freight documentation is collected and filed correctly.
11. Schedule inbound and outbound freight while adhering to warehouse operational protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Environment:
- Computer Monitor: 80%
- Moving Mechanical Parts: 80%
