Quality Control Inspector Job Description

Champion Home Builders Inc is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in the Pembroke, NC region. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting parts, products, and processes to ensure conformance with standards. You will utilize check sheets to inspect each room and exterior for obvious cosmetic defects, ensure that the unit meets cleanliness standards for shipping, and follow up on repairs. You will also verify all ship loose material is loaded per ship loose check sheet and coordinate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications, and/or manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect parts, products, and processes to ensure conformance with standards
  • Utilize check sheets to inspect each room and exterior for obvious cosmetic defects
  • Ensure that the unit meets cleanliness standards for shipping
  • Follow up on repairs
  • Verify all ship loose material is loaded per ship loose check sheet
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications, and/or manufacturing operations
Requirements:
