We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Lead to join our team at iAnthus Capital. As an Inventory Control Lead, you will be responsible for facilitating the seamless movement of inventory between cultivation, retail, and wholesale operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, storing, organizing, and managing inventory across various cannabis operations, including cultivation, retail, and wholesale.
- Maintain accurate and timely record-keeping within the Biotrack STS system to meet Florida's regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations for cannabis plants and products, ensuring all data is accurate and consistent.
- Track, monitor, and document the movement of cannabis materials across cultivation, retail, and wholesale operations, ensuring compliance with Florida regulations and company policies.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive inventory reports using Excel, analyzing data for discrepancies and reconciling inventory discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory movements, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping processes between different operational areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory needs are met, facilitating effective communication about inventory levels, movements, and availability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and propose solutions to streamline operations while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Maintain meticulous records for regulatory reporting and internal reviews, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with state regulations.
- Assist in wholesale operations, including verifying orders, ensuring accurate deliveries, and tracking inventory as it moves to dispensaries.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on inventory control procedures and Biotrack STS usage, ensuring consistency in inventory management practices.
- Monitor the quality and condition of stored cannabis products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are stored in appropriate conditions.
- Work closely with the production planner to update production schedules, ensuring that inventory levels are aligned with cultivation and production timelines.
- Pull and analyze daily inventory reports to monitor stock levels and ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory data to support production planning and operational decisions.
Requirements:
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification or degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Must consent to a criminal background check.
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check.
- Minimum of one year of warehouse, procurement, and/or distribution management experience is required.
- Supervisory level responsibilities and/or marketing experience in cannabis, CBD, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, or related industry is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of valid auto insurance.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work in fast-paced environments, and respond to operational needs promptly.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal abilities for seamless collaboration across all company levels.
- Reliability is a must.
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively and work in a heavily regulated environment.
