Job Summary

iAnthus Capital is seeking a highly skilled Compliance/Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and promoting quality and security standards across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local business leaders and staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and occupational health and safety protocols.
  • Provide administrative support in areas of compliance, quality, security, and occupational health and safety to cultivation, production, processing, extraction, retail, and corporate departments.
  • Review product inventory adjustments and report to state regulators as required.
  • Assist in drafting variance requests related to cultivation, processing, and retail.
  • Design and implement written policies and procedures related to compliance, quality, security, and occupational health and safety programs.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs with local business leaders.
  • Meet annual compliance, quality, security, and occupational health and safety goals.
  • Participate in process evaluations, including job hazard analyses, operator training, and application proficiency assessments.
  • Support departments in implementing administrative and engineering controls to minimize security threats and occupational health and safety hazards.
  • Maintain local compliance, quality, security, and occupational health and safety document control.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4 years' experience performing risk management or compliance, quality, security, or occupational health and safety responsibilities or similar highly responsible work.
  • Possession of a valid motor vehicle license and willingness to operate motor vehicles in the course of employment.
  • Any professionally recognized certifications in compliance, security, and occupational health and safety related fields.

This is a hybrid-remote position with some days at home, performing administrative tasks.
