Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The Diagnostic Sonographer is a skilled professional responsible for providing patient services using diagnostic ultrasound under the supervision of a physician. This role requires a strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and technologies
- Graduation from an accredited School of Ultrasound required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment
- Registered Vascular Specialist or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification required
- One year experience or training in diagnostic ultrasound in at least two specialty areas, such as abdomen and OB/GYN
