Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Associate at American Freight, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Filling order requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that merchandise is accurately staged and loaded for shipment.
  • Moving merchandise between various areas of the warehouse, including the dock, stockroom, sales floor, and customer pick-up or delivery areas.
  • Assembling and disassembling fixtures and equipment as needed.
  • Processing receipts and ensuring that all merchandise is accurately accounted for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill order requests and stage merchandise for timely shipments.
  • Move merchandise between dock, stockroom, sales floor, customer pick-up or delivery, and removal of 'sold' merchandise from sales floor.
  • Assemble and disassemble fixtures and equipment.
  • Process receipts and ensure accurate inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
