About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at ICAT Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all imports, exports, and domestic shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on operations-related questions from various departments and team members.
  • Accountable for day-to-day coordination, execution, and tracking of all imports, exports, and domestic shipments.
  • Support the ICAT CX initiative by providing high-level customer satisfaction and operational proficiency to meet growth and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide WOW experiences.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of operations freight forwarding experience, preferably with both international and domestic experience.
  • Dangerous goods certification is preferred but not required.
  • A college degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred but not required.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMC, IMCO, ITAR, TSA, C-TPAT, HAZMAT, and US Customs Border Protection (CBP).
  • Proven experience negotiating rates with various trucking companies, carriers, and overseas.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and gaining credibility with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Superior communication skills, ability to motivate people, and an emphasis on listening.
  • Lead by example, highly motivated team player with an outgoing and positive work attitude.
  • Extremely well organized and detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
