Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Piping)

Location: Remote

Job Description:

• Collaborate with offshore design teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure all design deliverables align with customer expectations.

• Provide technical support to construction teams, offering guidance as necessary.

• Engage in project planning and management, resource allocation, and ensure optimal team utilization.

• Understand project scope in collaboration with clients and connect with all stakeholders to facilitate project execution.

• Oversee all engineering activities related to new product development, maintenance, and modifications of existing machinery.

• Deliver technical support for mechanical construction activities from start to finish, ensuring timely project delivery with zero defects, in conjunction with the design team.

• Document construction-related challenges and prepare action plans for resolution, coordinating vendor tasks to achieve defect-free installations.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of engineering principles to address project-specific challenges independently, representing the discipline to resolve technical inquiries and coordinate work with clients.

• Develop and manage work plans in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget, overseeing implementation and performance.

• Review and approve critical engineering drawings, calculations, and bid summaries, facilitating technical discussions with third parties to secure approvals for various project phases.

• Possess design and project knowledge in process piping, adhering to key standards such as ASME B31.3 and BPE.

• Experience in the FMCG, CPG, or pharmaceutical sectors is essential.

• Proficient in 2D design using AutoCAD.

• Act as the site single point of contact (SPOC) for scheduling project calls with clients.

• Coordinate with offshore teams regarding design deliverables.

• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and construction teams to share necessary inputs with offshore teams.

• Prepare design markups and review documents sent from offshore teams.

• Deliver comprehensive design packages to clients.

• Support construction teams by addressing technical queries and providing clarifications.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
