Flores is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Risk, Compliance, and IT functions. As Vice President, you will be responsible for overseeing the firm's risk management, compliance, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate liquidity, income, interest rate, currency, and credit risks. Manage derivatives portfolio hedging interest rates and currencies.
  • Compliance: Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC, OFAC, and periodic reporting to the U.S. Government. Ensure adherence to compliance standards as the firm expands into new areas.
  • IT Management: Lead and manage all aspects of Information Technology, including strategic technology planning, IT policies, applications development and support, IT asset lifecycle, vendor relationships, and disaster recovery management.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in risk management or a similar role, with a strong background in IT.
  • Managerial experience with effective communication and proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SaaS Treasury platforms like Reval and Oracle.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CFA or FRM, are advantageous.
