Job Overview
A3T is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to support our team in executing IT and Cyber Security support to a federal government agency and its mission partners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting vulnerability assessments, risk assessment and security architecture reviews.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments of the organization's infrastructure, providing mitigation recommendations and risk assessment.
  • Develop, test, implement and document approved changes in accordance with established priorities.
  • Evaluate centralized logging network capabilities, forensic procedures and certification and accreditation processes.
  • Research and analyze technology problems, issues and program requirements aligned with Department of State Diplomatic Security Configuration Standards.
  • Monitor systems daily using Tripwire, tenable and web inspect, developing reports and presenting findings at weekly Information Assurance Meetings.
  • Report security violations to the ISSO immediately, ensuring prompt decision-making and action.
  • Produce FSI-specific documentation and user guides.
Requirements:
  • Top Secret Clearance required.
  • High school degree and 10 years of relevant IT experience, or bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience with 5 years in IA/Cybersecurity.
  • Security+ or higher certification.
  • Professional demeanor in all interactions with customers and team members.
