About the Job

We are currently seeking a skilled Engineering Design Specialist to join our Utility Services team. This role involves working on various projects, including distribution system improvements and joint-use design.

The Successful Candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical distribution assets and/or communication equipment construction, with experience in pole loading software and design practices. They will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with clients and co-workers to determine the best solution for their project
  • Analyzing field-collected data to update applicable software packages
  • Designing and implementing engineering solutions for distribution systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in fieldwork or construction environment, drafting, utility experience, or technical design
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary and Benefits

  • Estimated salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
