**Job Summary**

As a Radiologic Technologist at Emerson Hospital, you will play a critical role in assisting in the diagnosis of disease or injury by producing high-quality images using ionizing radiation. Reporting to the Section Leader, you will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to capture accurate and detailed images.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of imaging procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

**Requirements:**

  • Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training
  • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BLS healthcare provider certification

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency, including PACS and HIS/RIS
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
