About the RoleThe Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial viability of Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) by establishing and monitoring financial plans and budgets.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing insights and recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Supervise a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of financial services.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements, implementing initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, maintaining accurate and transparent financial records.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and governing bodies, providing clear and concise insights into ANMC's financial performance.
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare finance, with significant experience in financial planning, analysis, and leadership.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and improving financial performance through innovative strategies and solutions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
