Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize various surfaces, including doors, doorframes, baseboards, and stairwells.
  • Operate hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment to perform tasks such as sweeping, dust mopping, and wet mopping.
  • Utilize special cleaning and sanitizing solutions to remove stains from various surfaces.
  • Empty trash and wastebaskets, and transport general refuse, regulated medical waste, and recycling to central collection areas.
  • Clean restrooms, bathrooms, and shower rooms to meet acceptable standards.
  • Perform minor maintenance on cleaning equipment and change attachments as needed.
  • Replenish supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, and soap in all areas where dispensers are located.

Requirements:

  • Recent tuberculosis (TB) test within the past 3 months.
  • Titers for MMR, Varicella, and Hep B antibodies.
  • COVID and Flu vaccines.

Work Schedule: The contracted Housekeeping Aide will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with specific hours varying depending on the assigned shift.
