Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our aircraft meet the highest standards of quality and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA approved/acceptable data.
  2. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting.
  3. Keep accurate, neat, and legible records of the work performed on aircraft/components.
  4. Coordinate throughout assigned jobs with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner.
  5. Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service.
  6. Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to any flight activities.
  7. Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. 6 years aircraft/component inspection experience, including 3 years experience on large or mid-size aircraft.
  3. Airframe and Powerplant License required.
  4. Proficient in the utilization of Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms and documents.
  5. Proficient in blueprint reading, use/interpretation of Maintenance Manuals, test specifications, and other inspection-related documentation as required.
  6. Familiar with FAA certification approval processes.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Word, and minimum 20 WPM typing speed.
  9. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Additional Information

This is a full-time position with up to 25% travel. The shift is weekend days. Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position.
