Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Land Surveyor/Survey Manager to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As a key member of our survey department, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations, including compiling and base mapping of survey data, generating staking calculations, and preparing record plat maps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compiling and base mapping of survey data
  • Generating staking calculations
  • Preparing record plat maps
  • Preparing ALTA surveys
  • Preparing boundary surveys
  • Preparing topographic surveys
  • Preparing loan maps
  • Performing quality control of all survey documents
  • Assisting with direction and monitoring of multiple survey crews
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with conventional, robotic, and GPS survey and data collection equipment
  • Knowledge of practices and principles used in land surveying and civil engineering
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and site safety principles
  • Experience in subdivision design and associated surveying requirements
  • Experience with municipal utility infrastructure projects and associated surveying requirements
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task numerous survey projects
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

  • PLS in North Carolina or ability to transfer/obtain from another state
  • 3-5 years' experience
  • Proficient in survey computations
  • Proficient in office and field procedures
