Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of our residents while meeting leasing, retention, and occupancy goals for the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify prospects by covering all criteria and manage the leasing process from tour to move-in.
  • Record all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports and maintain accurate guest cards.
  • Inspect models and available units, communicate related service needs to the Property Manager.
  • Guide prospects in completing the application and secure deposit in accordance with Vidalta and Fair Housing requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and community policies.
  • Encourage and distribute lease renewals and negotiate terms to minimize vacancy rates.
  • Meet and support company key performance indicators and objectives.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in sales, retail, hospitality, and/or customer service.
  • Leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
  • Operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Onesite (Community Software System), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable about financial regulations and best practices in property management.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and accommodate varied schedules.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with fair housing laws and regulations.
  • Strong organization skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
