As a Clinical Care LPN/LPN at LanceSoft, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our community. With a focus on holistic care, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices. You will also administer immunizations and injections, perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services, and perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening. Additionally, you will assist with patient registration and intake, wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
- Administer immunizations and injections, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
- Assess patients during intake and take vital signs.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
- Perform Point of Care testing (including COVID testing).
- Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass the FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
Education:
- Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
