Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering consulting team, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical field investigations, overseeing geotechnical testing, and preparing reports for various commercial and industrial projects in the PA, WV, and OH areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead geotechnical field investigations and oversee geotechnical testing
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations for geotechnical design and construction
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement geotechnical designs for dams, cofferdams, and other geo-structures
  • Conduct presentations and provide high-level consultation to clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (ABET accredited)
  • 15+ years of experience in civil/geotechnical engineering, with a focus on geotechnical design and construction
  • Professional Engineer Certification (PE)
  • Experience with coal-fired power, mining, energy, oil & gas, waste industries, and other industrial clients
  • Advanced analytical and numerical modeling skills, including slope stability, groundwater, and seismic response
