Job Title: Behavior Direct Support Professional

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Direct Support Professional to join our team in Lynnwood and Everett, WA. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to program participants, focusing on their unique needs, interests, and goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to promote community integration, socialization, and skill-building.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing living environment, adhering to Residential Service Guidelines and individualized plans.
  • Assist participants with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Transport participants to community outings, appointments, and activities, promoting socialization and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, and other support staff to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Document progress, incidents, and other relevant information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in ongoing training, education, and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum two years of experience in clinical, case management, or residential settings (preferred).
  • Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record required.
  • Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
