Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a PHP Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the migration of legacy ColdFusion applications to modern platforms, utilizing your expertise in PHP, MySQL, and Apache.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions using PHP, MySQL, and Apache, and SuiteCRM (low code) platform.
  • Lead the migration of legacy ColdFusion applications to modern platforms.
  • Provide software design and development services, web content management, and documentation development services to enable this migration.
  • Perform Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to manage software deployments.
  • Develop solutions on the SuiteCRM (low code) platform.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of directly related IT experience.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong experience with PHP, MySQL, and Apache.
  • Experience with SuiteCRM (low code) platform.
  • Knowledge of web-application security and testing practices.
  • Experience with automating deployments with Ansible.
  • System administration on Windows to support development tools.
  • Penetration testing, static code analysis, and load testing.
  • Experience with federal government IT security standards.
  • Knowledge/experience with SuiteCRM/SugarCRM.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar project tracking tools.
  • Experience with Selenium, JMeter, or similar automated scripted testing tools.
  • Experience with 508 compliance implementation and front-end testing.
