Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, engineer, analyze, and develop comprehensive software systems and delivery processes, including DevOps pipelines.
  • Model and evaluate software development and deployment methodologies, assisting projects in customizing Agile development and delivery strategies.
  • Collaborate with government leaders to define project context, identify challenges, and establish a clear vision for capabilities, priorities, and transformation plans.
  • Develop Agile methodologies, plans, and architectures to facilitate software development, analysis, and operational processes.
  • Assume a senior role with managerial responsibilities, overseeing all facets of IT application development while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with other Software Developer IIIs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of one of the following certifications within six months of starting the role:
    • CCNA-Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • Security+ CE
    • CND
    • SSCP
  • For candidates without a degree, four (4) additional years of experience are required.
  • For candidates with an Associate's degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development or a related discipline.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Relevant industry-standard certifications.

Clearance Requirements:

  • This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for over 50% of the time.
  • Effective communication and information exchange with peers and senior personnel.
  • Frequent operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Regular communication with co-workers, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Occasional movement within the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

Compensation and Benefits:

The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700-$224,700, influenced by factors such as contract wage determination, relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
