Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced program manager to lead the development of AI-powered products and services. You'll be responsible for coordinating and driving early engagements on product architecture, feature definition, and program execution. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, standards, and processes that align with Apple's values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate: Provide clear, timely, and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive teams.
  • Coordinate: Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project teams, maintaining an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration.
  • Plan: Create and manage project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status. Manage risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams.
  • Execute: Drive on-time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates.
  • Problem solve: Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources vital to attack and resolve. Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and track risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management shipping products driven by machine-learned systems to worldwide users.
  • Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations to accomplish.
  • Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
  • Detailed understanding of testing, build, and release processes for sophisticated software.
  • Demonstrated skill of negotiating and distilling complex technical requirements from multiple partners into a coherent long-term platform roadmap.
  • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills, including experience leading metrics-driven projects or programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or engineering or other technical area, or experience in related field.
