Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Kona Grill - Boise. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and meet customer expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu changes, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Participate in daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Assist with receiving and storing inventory, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of our kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-casual or casual dining setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and safely in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
