Palliative Care Physician Opportunity

The Newton-Wellesley Hospital Division of Palliative Care is seeking a skilled Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join our inpatient consult team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical care to patients with complex, advanced illnesses, while also contributing to educational and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient consultations for patients with complex, advanced illnesses
  • Teach and supervise residents and medical students
  • Participate in quality improvement and administrative work
Division Characteristics

The Division of Palliative Care at Newton-Wellesley Hospital provides specialized, interdisciplinary palliative care services in the following settings:

  • Inpatient consultations for patients with complex, advanced illnesses
  • Ambulatory co-management of patients with advanced cancer
  • Expansion of ambulatory services to patients with non-oncologic serious illness diagnoses
