Mechanical Systems Engineer
This role is dedicated to delivering engineering expertise in the enhancement and maintenance of systems and equipment within the Inspection and Packaging sectors. The position emphasizes adherence to industry regulations, quality assurance, and compliance with FDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance regarding engineering, compliance, quality assurance, and issues related to mechanical, electrical, and process automation.
- Support during inspections by regulatory bodies and offer technical guidance in response to inquiries from these agencies.
- Conduct maintenance tasks, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs.
- Oversee the inventory management of spare parts for various equipment and systems.
- Assess and refine maintenance protocols to enhance efficiency.
- Analyze utility and process system designs and collaborate with Operations as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED coupled with relevant Technical Engineering experience.
- Progress towards an Associate's degree or possession of a Bachelor's degree.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Educational qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- Experience in the repair of mechanical systems, ideally within a manufacturing context.
- Familiarity with PLCs, Computer Serialization, Packaging Machinery, and Vision Inspection Technologies.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Competence in using MS Office software.
