Benefits:

- This is an entry-level position; no prior experience is necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Successful candidates may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and/or MVR check.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is mandatory.
- DOT Medical Card is required.

Due to the inherently hazardous nature of this industry, employees must possess adequate eyesight for judging distances and coordinating equipment. The role requires maintaining focus for extended periods, enduring various weather conditions, and wearing necessary personal protective equipment. Employees must be capable of entering and exiting vehicles multiple times throughout the day and traversing diverse terrains.
- Work involves exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Employees will encounter high noise levels from machinery, including chainsaws and woodchippers, and must wear hearing protection.
- Work is conducted in all weather conditions and may involve exposure to natural elements, such as plants and insects.
- Work may occur on uneven ground and involves managing falling debris with appropriate safety measures.
As a comprehensive utility contractor, Asplundh specializes in tree pruning and removal, right-of-way clearing and maintenance, vegetation management with herbicides, emergency storm response, and logistical support. The company also oversees Asplundh Infrastructure Group, which provides overhead and underground line construction, planning and design, meter reading, and installation services. Asplundh operates Rotor Blade Airborne Utilities Management, utilizing helicopters for overhead electric distribution and transmission line services.
