The Loan Officer is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service throughout the entire mortgage loan journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generates new mortgage loan applications by fostering relationships within the real estate sector and conducting outreach to potential clients.
  • Educates applicants about the loan application procedure.
  • Collects comprehensive loan applications along with all necessary documentation for processing.
  • Evaluates information by scrutinizing applications and documentation, assessing creditworthiness, and calculating repayment risks based on the data provided by borrowers.
  • Pre-qualifies prospective loan applicants by reviewing their credit and financial history.
  • Ensures timely processing of loans by obtaining any additional information from applicants as needed.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with borrowers from application through to closing.
  • Clarifies the loan terms with borrowers both verbally and in writing prior to finalization.
  • Understands and adheres to the company's policies and procedures to ensure proper and effective service to all customers.
  • Addresses any customer inquiries and disputes promptly and tactfully.
  • Monitors and reports customer complaints, recommending corrective measures to management.
  • Safeguards both the bank and the customer by ensuring all mortgage loan information remains confidential.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in mortgage sales is advantageous.
