Assembly Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tandem Assembly Operator to join our team on 3rd Shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a production machine that assembles hardware for kitchen cabinets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Startup and shutdown machines according to recommended procedures
  • Maintain proper levels of material in hoppers and adjacent work areas
  • Perform visual and measurable quality checks as directed
  • Monitor machine operation and take corrective action when necessary
  • Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Maintain accurate production report data
  • Clear jams and errors following recommended troubleshooting methods
  • Complete product changeovers as directed
  • Cross-train to run various processes and operate multiple machines as required
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred
  • Proficient in the operation of advanced automated pick & place production assembly machines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping
