Locking Device Assembly Operator 2nd Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Locking Device Assembly Operator to join our team on 2nd Shift. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading international company in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a production machine that assembles hardware for kitchen cabinets, including door hinges and pull systems for drawers.
  • Perform startup and shutdown procedures, maintain proper material levels, and complete quality checks as directed.
  • Monitor machine operation, take corrective action when necessary, and comply with all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production report data, clear jams and errors, and complete product changeovers as directed.
  • Be cross-trained to run various processes and operate multiple machines as required to meet production schedules.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Proficient in the operation of advanced automated pick & place production assembly machines.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift, lift up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment.

Benefits

  • Hourly position with overtime.
  • Base rate $20.75 per hour to start, with an additional $1.00 cent premium for 2nd or 3rd shift.
