Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CodeForce. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating radiologic equipment, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during scans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting patients to dressing and/or exam rooms, providing verbal and/or written instructions, and assisting patients in positioning body parts to be imaged.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, position radiologic equipment, and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to specification of examination.
- Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, report equipment malfunctions to Radiology Manager, and maintain adequate radiologic supplies.
- Perform related administrative duties, including scheduling patients, placing orders, archiving in PACS, moving images to reading platform, completing necessary exam-specific forms, and collecting STATS data.
- Assess orders to the correct needs for Prior Authorization, exam performance, and billing, and troubleshoot issues pertaining to patient accounts, orders, exams, prior imaging, and all other related occurrences.
- Perform EKG tests, DEXA scans, and CT scans independently and proficiently, and demonstrate knowledge and compliance with facility-wide and departmental policies and procedures.
- Exhibit flexibility in response to changing work situations, including rotating through the call schedule according to the weekly needs of the department.
- Actively participate in the Compliance Program, education/in-services, competencies, and demonstrate compliance with required laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved training institution.
- Approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and BLS Certification current.
- Working knowledge of CT exam performance.
Work Schedule: Day Shift, plus rotate through the on-call schedule. Weekly week-night coverage and monthly weekend coverage.
