POSITION SUMMARY:

This role emphasizes the maintenance of technology, computerized systems, gaming equipment, climbing apparatus, kitchen appliances, and sports gear.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facility Maintenance Duties

  • Ensure the facility's overall cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in storage areas and maintenance zones.
  • Develop and manage a cleaning schedule that accommodates daily operations.
  • Possess knowledge of building systems, including fire safety, HVAC, and alarm systems.
  • Oversee utility management, including lighting and temperature controls.
  • Maintain and repair athletic surfaces.
  • Schedule and execute maintenance on facility equipment.
  • Collaborate with management on facility repairs to optimize operations.
  • Engage external vendors for maintenance services as needed.
  • Conduct inspections for safety compliance.

Grounds Maintenance Responsibilities

  • Monitor and uphold the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds.
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks with management and contractors to enhance facility usage.
  • Maintain walkways and landscaping, ensuring they are free from debris and hazards.
  • Create and implement an annual maintenance plan for sports courts.
  • Operate and care for sports equipment.
  • Manage the upkeep of trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
  • Utilize machinery for grounds maintenance.
  • Ensure the parking area is clean and well-maintained.
  • Keep accurate records of supplies and maintenance activities.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback for facility improvements.
  • Complete special projects and daily tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in sports facility maintenance and grounds management.
  • General knowledge of maintenance, cleaning, and landscaping practices.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in managing schedules for vendors and contractors.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certifications within a specified timeframe.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling over 100 lbs.
  • Ability to navigate the facility for prolonged periods.
  • Willingness to climb to elevated areas for task completion.
  • Exposure to intermittent noise levels.
