Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Concessions Team Member to join our team at Bill Noble Park. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating an electronic cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with outstanding customer service and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate an electronic cash register and credit card machine, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
  • Perform basic mathematical computations and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
  • Communicate effectively with the public, responding to inquiries and resolving conflicts in a polite and friendly manner
  • Clean concession areas, tables, and equipment, and assist in preparing and serving food items
  • Pick up dishes, glasses, and trash in dining and concession areas, and scrape and rinse dishes, load the dishwasher, and operate the dishwashing machine
  • Take and record the temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls during transportation
  • Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas
  • Alert management immediately in case of suspicious acting persons, intoxicated individuals, or other safety concerns

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer is preferred
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
  • One year of customer service experience with the general public is preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. waist high
  • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to enter information on computers
  • Must comply with safety and health code standards
  • Good personal hygiene is required
  • Facility has intermittent noise
  • Must wear proper uniform

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • 1+ years of experience in a food service environment
