Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Procedures: Create and maintain comprehensive safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Conduct Compliance Audits: Regularly inspect the facility to ensure compliance with OSHA, EAP regulations, and ISO standards.
- Lead Safety Training: Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with Department Heads: Work closely with department heads to communicate safety updates and best practices.
- Build a Safety Team: Assemble a team of safety professionals to support the development and implementation of safety procedures.
- Communicate with Senior Leadership: Regularly update the Vice President/General Manager on safety initiatives and progress.
- 5+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in safety management and environmental compliance, preferably in manufacturing or construction environments.
- OSHA 10 Certification: Possess OSHA 10 certification and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Related Field: A degree in safety, environmental health, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Bilingual: Fluency in a second language is highly preferred.
- OSHA 30 Certification: Possess OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience in Precast Concrete Manufacturing: Previous experience working in precast concrete manufacturing is highly preferred.
