Job Title: Grants Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to join our team at the University of Oklahoma. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to secure funding for our research initiatives. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage grant proposals to secure funding for research initiatives * Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify funding opportunities and develop grant applications * Manage and track grant submissions, including deadlines and follow-up * Analyze and evaluate grant proposals to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures * Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies and stakeholders Requirements: * Master's degree in a related field * 36 months of program administration or related experience * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with grant writing and management * Knowledge of university policies and procedures * Familiarity with funding agencies and their requirements Why Work at the University of Oklahoma: The University of Oklahoma is a premier research university that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to work in a standard office environment and may be required to travel. The position requires the ability to engage in repetitive motions and may involve frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods. Departmental Preferences: The successful candidate will be expected to develop and manage the budget for internal pilot programs, take a leadership role in large, complex, or multi-PI grant submissions, and present information regarding grant proposal submissions to groups. Key Performance Indicators: The successful candidate will be expected to conduct analysis of Proposal Services Core metrics and report results to the Director, review complex RFAs, RFPs, and other funding announcements, and provide advice to leadership and investigative teams about grant application requirements. Additional Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to assist with Key Performance Indicator statistics for the HHDC, coordinate report preparation and/or submission of reports to sponsors, Research Programs and Leadership, and perform various forms of research, information gathering, problem solving, and interpretation of policies and procedures related to grant and contract proposals.
