Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

The Assistant Branch Manager plays a vital role in supporting the branch in achieving its goals of growth and service excellence. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest level of knowledge and productivity among staff, and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and guide branch staff to ensure they meet customer service requirements and perform business activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operations Management: Maintain a high level of knowledge about the company's products and services, and ensure that all staff members are kept up to date with new offerings and changes.
  • Loan Origination: Originate new accounts, process all documentation, and forward to the correct back-office function.
  • Branch Management: Support the Branch Manager in supervising staff, ensuring adequate job training, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain and support security policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a banking or financial services industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
