The Department of Economics at Penn State University is looking to fill several teaching faculty roles. Candidates should be adept at managing large classroom settings and proficient in teaching both introductory and intermediate courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and/or econometrics. The role of Assistant/Associate Teaching Professors involves a teaching load of 3/3 and collaboration with a team of instructors responsible for delivering most introductory and intermediate-level courses within the Department. These positions are non-tenure-track and are offered on a term basis.
A proven track record in teaching is preferred; however, less experienced candidates, particularly new Ph.D. graduates who have taught large classes during their graduate studies, will also be considered.

To be considered for these positions, candidates must complete the Penn State application on the Job Posting Board and download application materials as required. These roles will be filled at the rank of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor, with a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field required by the appointment date. The rank and duration of the appointment will be determined based on education and experience.
