PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Formulate and disseminate the daily production schedule.
  • Generate and issue work orders according to system requirements, oversee system alerts, and ensure work order timelines align with organizational metrics.
  • Monitor the flow of components throughout the facility and provide timely updates to Sales and other departments regarding status and anticipated delivery timelines.
  • Initiate requisitions as needed for quotes and procurement to facilitate the timely delivery of parts or services.
  • Manage procurement activities, including maintaining multiple supply sources, confirming that planned purchase orders align with demand, and suggesting modifications in quantities to capitalize on pricing advantages.
  • Guarantee the seamless and punctual supply of raw materials and outsourced operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure prompt actions are taken to produce and deliver components on schedule.
  • Engage with the Sales team to proactively communicate any delays and coordinate rescheduling efforts to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with engineering to schedule necessary testing, minimizing disruptions to the production schedule.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of plant operations and equipment to facilitate effective planning.
  • Evaluate non-conformances and engineering modifications to adjust work orders as necessary.
  • Foster effective relationships with suppliers and their representatives.
  • Regularly revise work order due dates based on variations in internal capacity and vendor delivery schedules.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at shortening the supply chain, enhancing fill rates, and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Adhere to all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional job responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required, or equivalent knowledge/education, preferably in:
    • Manufacturing environments
    • Planning
    • Project Management
  • Technical knowledge in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Experience with ERP software is required; familiarity with Oracle ERP is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
