Job Title: Lead, Contracts Specialist

Verra Mobility is a global leader in smart mobility, developing technology-enabled solutions to help the world move safely and easily. We are seeking a meticulous and organized Lead, Contracts Specialist to join our Government Solutions Legal team.

Job Summary:

The Lead, Contracts Specialist will support a team of Contract Managers in overseeing and managing all aspects of our company's contracts and agreements. This role will be essential in ensuring contracts are properly executed, monitored, and fulfilled, while mitigating risks and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare contractual agreements using current research methods and a knowledge of a client's needs and ability to fulfill its requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and legal teams to ensure seamless contract management.
  • Analyze requests, data, identify trends, and report to management or make informed decisions.
  • Ensure contractual agreements are written in language that is legally binding and in accordance with the client's desires.
  • Review contract terms and conditions to verify compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Clearly explain contract terminology to clients and other interested parties in simple, everyday language.
  • Self-monitor progress and submit drafts and documents in a timely manner.
  • Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports based on contract fulfillment requirements.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of legal or paralegal experience, preferably working directly with contract law or a related field.
  • Knowledge of current and legally-binding contractual language and terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable mastery of the English language.
  • Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations.
  • Outstanding organization skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
