About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist to join our team at WellStone. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive, individualized care to children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients' communication status, develop treatment plans that integrate family values and clinical guidelines, and document ongoing progress towards goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other disciplines, including ABA Therapy, occupational therapy, and clinical psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with ASHA and other research-based guidelines, expand clinical knowledge, and develop clinical reasoning skills.
  • Client Care: Provide trauma-informed care, address sensory-motor, cognitive, psychological, and behavioral development, and uphold ethical and professional standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, minimum 1-year experience in Pediatrics, CCC-SLP certification, and experience working with children with special needs.
  • Training and Certifications: CPR and HIPAA certification.
