As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist at Madison Behavior Therapy (MBT), you will become an integral part of our dedicated family, embodying our core values in every interaction with colleagues and clients. Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • At least one year of experience working with pediatric populations
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with children facing special needs or behavioral challenges
  • Current State License in good standing
  • Successful completion of background checks
  • Membership in ASHA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and document the communication abilities of pediatric patients through clinical observations, caregiver feedback, and standardized assessments.
  • Design treatment plans that align with the family's values, the child's needs, and clinical best practices.
  • Track and document progress towards established goals, addressing developmental areas including sensory-motor, cognitive, psychological, and behavioral aspects.
  • Collaborate effectively with other professionals within the clinic, including ABA therapists, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, and external specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Adhere to ASHA guidelines and evidence-based practices in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to expanding clinical knowledge and enhancing clinical reasoning skills.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards within the MBT Clinics.
  • Promote the services offered by MBT clinics to the wider community.

Required Training:

  • CPR Certification
  • HIPAA Training

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain on feet for up to 80% of the work shift
  • Capability to lift up to 30 pounds
