NaphCare is a leading provider of quality healthcare in the correctional industry, and we're seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at the St. Lucie County Jail in Fort Pierce, FL.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility
- Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations
- Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits
- Conduct rounds in all units
- Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
- Coordinate, lead and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care
- Must hold a current, unrestricted Psychiatrist license in FL
- Current DEA registration
- A valid CPR card
- Board certification
- Eligible or qualified by the state laws/regulations to practice psychiatry
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in primary care specialty of psychiatrist with administrative experience
- Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills
- Must have strong computer skills
