Job Title: Psychiatrist

Job Summary:

NaphCare is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at the St. Lucie County Jail in Fort Pierce, FL. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for maintaining overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility
  • Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations
  • Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits
  • Conduct rounds in all units
  • Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
  • Coordinate, lead and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted Psychiatrist license in FL
  • Current DEA registration
  • A valid CPR card
  • Board certification
  • Eligible or qualified by the state laws/regulations to practice psychiatry
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in primary care specialty of psychiatrist with administrative experience
  • Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills
  • Must have strong computer skills
