About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biller IV Customer Service Representative to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our Single Billing Office, you will be responsible for managing complex accounts and transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and serving as a resource for staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve complex accounts and transactions with precision and accuracy
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, payers, and other stakeholders
  • Serve as a resource and troubleshooter for staff members dealing with difficult accounts
  • Act as a liaison between the Single Billing Office, hospital departments, physician offices, and vendors
  • Identify and resolve routine and non-routine errors independently
Requirements
  • Skilled at using computerized systems and applications to maintain and update patient accounting information
  • Excellent computer skills and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
