Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Family and/or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as a Medical Director for our Adult Care Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Duties: Perform comprehensive history and physical assessments, provide services in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice, develop treatment plans that include education and follow-up visits, and make referrals as indicated by patient needs.
  • Communication and Documentation: Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers regarding diagnosis, treatment, and patient plans, both verbally and through documentation in the medical record, and maintain current and complete documentation reflecting the care and services provided.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrate solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills, exhibit great interpersonal and communication skills, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Vermont, board certified or eligible in Family and/or Internal Medicine, and possess experience working with adult populations. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain current and complete documentation in the medical record.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
