Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SAIC. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment, including PCBs, power supplies, and other complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain individualized sub-assemblies, including large cabinet type structures, power supplies, and cabling.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure proper storage, transportation, and auditing of inventory.
  • Travel between SAIC Eastgate and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane to provide support and assistance.
  • Document the disassembly process and support procedural development.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 5 or more years of experience working in electronics; or Associate's Degree and electronics training.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Familiar with Military packaging, handling, and marking of assets for shipment and storage.
  • Possess technical capabilities to disassemble PCBs, power supplies, and other electronic equipment.
  • Familiar with the handling of PCBs and able to abide by all Electronic Discharge processes and procedures.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • Possess the ability to work alone without supervision.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience.
  • Naval ship technician-related experience.
