Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce high-quality microscope slides in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
2. Exhibit proficiency in the operation and upkeep of necessary laboratory instruments.
3. Identify and troubleshoot equipment or methodological issues.
4. Maintain a clean and efficient workspace to ensure optimal performance and safety.
5. Address any staining discrepancies, equipment failures, or unusual specimens, implementing solutions or seeking assistance as needed.
6. Practice cost-effective usage of materials and resources.
7. Actively seek feedback on personal performance to foster professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn related tasks and support management and physicians.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred.
