Job Summary

Eataly North America is seeking a skilled Café Counter Manager to join our team at our upcoming location in the Mall at Short Hills. As a key member of our Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) team, you will be responsible for supervising and running the day-to-day operations of our QSR counters, ensuring high hospitality standards are met and our guests have an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and high hospitality standards
• Collaborate closely with the QSR General Manager and Assistant General Manager on administrative and financial duties
• Train, motivate, mentor, and organize team members
• Estimate food and beverage needs, requisition or purchase supplies, and receive and check orders to ensure specifications are met
• Monitor inventory, check orders, and distribute supplies as needed throughout the department
• Manage transactions and ensure accurate accounting
• Record shift notes and assist with administrative duties such as scheduling when needed
• Ensure the department complies with all quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Document, investigate, and resolve employee and guest incidents

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and spend significant amounts of time walking or standing
• Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machines, drink blenders, juicers, and cash registers
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays
