Senior Electronic Systems Verification and Validation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Electronic Systems Verification/Validation Engineer for our team at Caterpillar, where you will be a part of creating stronger, more sustainable communities.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex analysis work, identifying, and solving problems related to electronic systems. You will clarify product requirements, ensure alignment with stakeholders, and organize and facilitate FMEAs or functional/performance/behavior analysis.
We are looking for an engineer who can assist in the creation of validation plans, define acceptance criteria, and evaluate existing validations controls, standard test procedures for effective risk mitigation. You will execute and/or coordinate execution of product tests, analyze test results, and document test conclusions with traceability.
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science or a related field, and 3 Years of engineering experience in software verification and validation or related occupation. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience will also be considered. You must have employment experience with communication networks, CAN, Datalink, MATLAB, and HIL systems, as well as version management tools including GIT HUB and Plastic SCM. Software Model based development using MATLAB/Simulink and Python scripts is also desired.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex analysis work, identify, and solve problems related to electronic systems.
